Derek Brockington is a dancer and choreographer originally from Michigan. Derek has trained at the Cincinnati Ballet, the Grand Rapids Ballet, and is now a choreographer for the Dance Theatre of Harlem. Derek will also take us through his collaboration with the Center for Jazz Studies at Columbia. Derek has overcome many obstacles to get to where he is today so tune in to hear how he made it in the dance industry!
